It's been over a month since I last made time to post or even to look at my blogroll. I'm not going to offer any kind of excuses, but I think I needed a bit of a break from something, and blogging lost out. I've been steadily losing readers this year, which isn't too surprising considering I haven't been publishing with any regularity, and my content has only really covered what I've been up to. This blog has evolved into little more than a personal journal, and that's the direction I'm going to stay with. I'm writing purely for myself, and not expecting anyone else to be interested enough to come by.

So, the last month in a paragraph or two:

I've been to the cinema twice, to see Matrix Reloaded which I hated (no shock there as I didn't enjoy the first one particularly) - I liked the effects, but found the bits in between dull, and then to see X2, which rocked. I can't wait for X3! If you haven't seen the X-Men movies I highly recommend them. I've been to 2 BBQs, one in which there were lots of little sproglets running around, and one in which there were lots of big kids (aka TW@s - oin's Counter Strike clan) at cath's place which has probably been mentioned on several other blogs in the past week.

At home, we've been shifting stuff around and catching up on all the stuff we haven't been doing due to all the DIY. 20 months after moving in we are now down to a handful of unpacked boxes, and 2 finished rooms. The to-do list doesn't seem to be shrinking though - for every task we tick off we seem to add two more items. We have the day off today - the intention was to build our graden shed, but the damned thing won't be delivered until Monday now (long story so I'll avoid the rant today), so we'll be doing a load of other house-related stuff instead.
